Senior Test Engineer
(Functional & Automation)

What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be:
 

• Responsible for functional/manual testing and have a working knowledge of test automation

• The ideal candidate should be capable of leading testing efforts, understanding QA processes, and collaborating effectively within Agile teams, while automation experience is beneficial.

The Hands-On Experience We Need You to Bring to the Table

• Years of experience:  6-10 years

• Key Responsibilities:​

  • Lead and perform functional testing across complex systems and applications.

  • Contribute to test automation using tools like Java, Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit if needed.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain Test Plans aligned with business goals.

  • Prepare and review Test Completion Reports (TCRs) summarizing test outcomes, coverage, defect metrics, and release readiness.

  • Use test management tools such as Jira, HP ALM, and QTest for planning, execution, and reporting.

  • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Domain Knowledge: Insurance domain experience is added advantage.
